Epic training weekend? Check. I assure you, it included all the feels. Potent mind training, time on the legs, yoga, hardcore recovery and high vibe food.
Liz is on Team YogiTriathlete and she is training for the Mendocino 50K in April. She traveled to sunny San Diego from Boston for a perfectly timed training weekend with us, missing a brutal Nor'Easter that hit in her absence. From the time she stepped off the plane, it was on. Day after day we laced up our shoes and logged the miles with the goal to put in a 50K between Friday's long trail run and Sunday's Half Marathon with lots in between.
In this episode, BJ takes the role as host and interviews Liz and me about the weekend. Nutrition, mental game, recovery, workouts and everything in between. We cover it all in this podcast. We've been working with Liz for about two years now and she is a shining example of the full buy-in. This woman is walking the warrior path and not only has her relationship to her sport shifted in a positive way but everything about how she moves through the world is more easeful.
