Sue Reynolds On Finding A Competitive Beast Inside

Sue Reynolds embarked on her life transformative journey in 2010 when she pushed her breakfast away and said, "no more." At 335 pounds, Sue was morbidly obese and unable to tie her shoes, but she was ready for change on that day. She started small with a walk to her neighbor's mailbox, and although it felt like a marathon to Sue, she got up the next day and walked again. In four short years, Sue turned herself into a world-class triathlete, and in 2017 she placed 6th at the Sprint World Championship. Sue is the author of The Athlete Inside: The Transforming Power of Hope, Tenacity, and Faith, and in this episode, she shares her inspiring story with us all. In this episode we discuss: - pleasing other people does not equal change - the diet that works is not a diet - discovering the competitive beast within - when "the way" doesn't work, find another way - the price of choice - believe that we can get to a joyful place Thank you so much for tuning in.
