Tim DeBoom, Two-Time Ironman World Champion Lives A Dedicated Life
In this episode, we share the mic with one of the most accomplished American triathletes in history. Tim DeBoom, USAT and Ironman Hall of Famer, is the last American to win an Ironman World Championship title, his back-to-back wins in 2001 and 2002 took us all to new heights of what may be possible. An athlete his entire life, Tim's professional career spanned from 1995 through 2012, from the age of 24 to his final season of racing at the age of 40.
f you are a regular listener, then you know Tim's wife Nicole, and if you follow Nicole, perhaps you received her newsletter in late January entitled "So there's this guy…"
Well, we did and were so excited to hear, as Nicole wrote, that Tim was emerging from his cocoon and putting himself out there into the world. As we read on, we learned that Tim is pulling back the curtain and sharing what helped him become the best in the world. From his two Ironman Triathlon World Championships to a happy, extremely fit 50-year old, Tim shares his tried and true tenets of what he calls A Dedicated Life.
