Matt Dixon of Purple Patch Fitness - On A Mission to Reach Human Potential
Matt Dixon is a world-class triathlon coach with a background as an elite swimmer and exercise physiologist. Matt is a former professional triathlete who is all too familiar with the highs and lows of athleticism. I have heard him describe himself as the example of doing a professional career very poorly, a heavy admittance that he has since used to his advantage to learn and grow.
Matt has evolved into one of the most sought-after coaches in the world. He has seen great success in applying his methodology to guide athletes to the very top of triathlon. Matt is the founder of Purple Patch Fitness, an international community of coaches and athletes; he is the Purple Patch podcast host and author of The Well-Built Triathlete and Fast-Track Triathlete.
We are excited to share our conversation with Matt because although his focus may appear to be athletic potential, it is ultimately about reaching human potential, which is something we believe we are all meant to realize in this life.
