Miki Taagholt, Professional Triathlete On Racing The Best To Be His Best
Just days away from the Ironman 70.3 World Championships, we sat down with premier Danish triathlete Miki Taagholt.
After racing for years on the ETU and ITU circuits for the Danish National Team, he earned his first professional podium in 2017 at the Challenge Denmark Half.
Miki made his Ironman debut in 2019 at 70.3 Oceanside, where he placed 8th, and then returned in 2021 to claim 2nd place on the day just weeks after finishing 4th in the world at the 70.3 World Championship.
This year we saw Miki take 4th at Challenge Family Championship, 2nd at Ironman 70.3 Elsinore, and 10th at the PTO Canadian Open in a very stacked field. Of course, these are just a handful of his results, so please make no mistake; Miki is no stranger to the podium.
We are so grateful to have chatted with him in person and hope you enjoy our conversation with one of the best triathletes in the world.
In this episode we discuss:
- Miki’s first homestay in Oceanside
