Corey Bellemore, Professional Runner and Beer-Mile Legend On Living The Journey As The Destination
We are thrilled to be welcoming Corey Bellemore to the show today. Although we have known of Corey for some time now, we were introduced to him last month by Heather Sloane of Heali Medical.
Corey is one of Heali's athletes receiving the great benefits of their magnesium and menthol-infused K-tape.
Heather and her business partner Li, were the guests of episode 365, which launched in March of this year, so make sure to listen to that episode.
Meeting Corey and having him here with us today is yet another example of the power of community and the connection that naturally arises from within.
Corey is a Canadian track and field athlete with insane personal bests like 3:57 for the mile, 3:39 for the 1500m, and 1:47 for the 800 m.
He is a National medalist and well known for being the Beer Mile World Record Holder, which he ran in 4:28. Corey has a background in competitive swimming from high school and has been known to train with some well-known professional triathletes so we'll see where that's all leading.
We hope you enjoy this episode! Thank you for supporting the YogiTriathlete mission and this podcast by listening, sharing, and being a patron.
