what training for speed, right? I think I have plenty of base so I can bust out a half marathon, but I want to bust out a half marathon like as fast as I possibly can. So this year is about speed and I have a big goal. I haven't registered for it yet, but right now the goal is Santa Cruz, Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz. And I have never broken three hours on the bike. I've come so freaking close, but I've never done it. And ⁓ I think I have the bike to do it.

And I would like to do that in conjunction with breaking two hours on the run, which I've done before, but never with a sub three bike. So, and that was a long time ago. So we'll see. I mean, I'm pumped. I like having big goals because when we looked at my Santa Cruz time, it looks like I need to take like 23 minutes off in order to do this. So I've got the coach for it for sure. If anyone can make me faster, it's the master of getting faster.

Well, first bike camp, if you guys are wondering what bike camp is, it's in endurance squad. it's a six week bike focused block of training, which gets you super prepared for the season. and what we do a lot of times is just start in December, and bust out six weeks. And that's when running and, and swimming go a little bit to the side.
