Welcome to the first episode of Ask the YTs.
This will be a regular series where we reply to listener questions on everything YogiTriathlete – mindfulness, yoga, triathlon, running, nutrition and life in general. We kick off this first installment with an update on how we’re doing with the process of ridding ourselves of our material belongings. I share a heartfelt email from a fellow YT that was delivered to my inbox at the perfect time. Support is fluid and reciprocal and we are so very grateful for all the messages of transformation and clarity that we are receiving from the tribe.
Next we tackle triathlon related questions on navigating the ego during a race and dialing in nutrition. These are two very relevant topics for all athletes so be sure to tune in.

Thrive: The Vegan Nutrition Guide for Optimal Performance in Sport and Life – homemade gel recipe:
- 4 dates
- 1/2 cup raw agave nectar
- 1 Tbsp lime zest
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- Sea salt to taste
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth gel-like consistency is reached. Put into plastic zip-lock bag or gel flask and rock on!
