With three weeks to go until Lake Sonoma 50, BJ and I kick off this installment of Ask the YTs by diving into my training. New shoes, high volume weeks, long taper and nutrition experiments. We stress the importance of rest and recovery as a means to absorb fitness and adapt to training. The hay is in the barn. Now it’s specificity, staying healthy and maintaining my engine. 50/50, here we come!
We also flesh out listener questions on intuition and how to be that great athlete that you see in others. We give practical tools to employ immediately to strengthen your intuitive voice and deliberately creating your best performance in sport.
