We max out the mics in this episode as we bring not one, not two but six people together to recap Ironman in Santa Rosa. Three top tier triathletes along with their #1 supporters flesh out the goings on of Saturday’s 140.6-mile race. We answer listener questions and dive into race strategy, nutrition and navigating the hurt.
Susannah, Ironman first-timer, Troy, elite level triathlete and BJ, long course veteran, and YogiTriathlete coach come together in this episode to share their race experience. Even though their exteriors and descriptive details may be different we see once again that at the core of our being we are more similar than different.
This was a very cool experience to have such amazing energy on the show today and within the laughs and comradery is so much valuable information for athletes. If you raced Ironman Santa Rosa you’ll surely enjoy hearing the experiences of your fellow competitors and if you are dreaming of racing in 2018 then look no further than the enthusiasm of this episode to fuel your impending registration.
Thanks so much for tuning in, if you are enjoying the show please leave a review on Apple Podcast (iTunes) we are going for 100 by the end of August. We have many to go but we believe our listeners will step up and share their experience with the YTP.
Namaste-
Jess
