My experience at running the Bryce Canyon 50-miler was a rich itinerary. It was powerful through and through—the mental battles, multiple falls, and mindblowing displays of nature. The ever-changing landscape of this course allows for many different kinds of terrain and challenges along the way.
Five different distances were out there on race day: 100-mile, 50-mile, 60k, 50k, and a 30k. The 50k and 50m courses include the Red Canyon loop – pit and my pearl of the day and where the mind began to act up.
Bryce Canyon is the most challenging course in the Vacation Races catalog of events and perhaps the toughest thing I’ve ever done. In other words, I highly recommend that it go on every trail runner’s bucket list.
Thank you for your questions! We hope you enjoy this smackdown.
