Heather Jackson is a born and bred badass. A native New Englander, she credits her hard work ethic to her upbringing and the strong role models in her family. Between her 90-year old grandpa, who is not uncommonly found fixing someone’s roof, to her creative disruptor husband Wattie, Heather is lifted up by her beloved family and community. She has a contagious energy of gratitude and joy that she brings to the highest level of professional triathlon. She is the example of finding what you love and putting your whole heart into it.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that times have always been easy or so grand. Heather, with Wattie by her side, has mastered one step of life after the next by maintaining awareness around growth. She has taken risks and found that love is the greatest tool for navigating the unknown.
This episode gives us insight into the truth behind the woman that we so often see up-high on the podium. Thank you, Heather, and thank you YogiTriathlete community, we are in deep thanks for your support.
Namaste –
Jess
