It certainly seems like Ironman has its hooks into another newbie triathlete and even deeper into a seasoned veteran of the 140.6 distance. We come to you today in honor of smacking down the Ironman Santa Rosa (IMSR) race experiences of first-time finisher Laura and 12-time finisher Coach Brian. They take us through their day, discipline by discipline, revealing their nutrition plans, race strategies and how they were forced to shift on the fly. We dive into what their IMSR experience showed them about themselves and they share pre-race words of wisdom for all competitors out there getting ready to hit the starting line.
